Job Description

Dasher Technologies is looking for an experienced Project Manager to help optimize internal process and scheduling with various technical projects. The Project Manager manages the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific short-term/long-term projects with defined timelines and specified deliverables. The primary ongoing responsibility is focused on meeting project commitments, including communications with sponsors and stakeholders and managing a limited resource pool.

Job Requirements

The Project Manager performs a wide range of duties including some or all of the following:

  • Manage the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management, logistics coordinator, Integration team, Engineers, and Account Managers
  • Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
  • Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project.
  • Schedule calls with the customer and engineering team – Pre/Post service, status, project review
  • Schedule deployments (Onsite/Remote), Prep/Lab work, Testing
  • Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
  • Review the project schedule with the engineering team, customer contacts (including customer PM if assigned) and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required
  • Coordinate with vendor/manufacturer services, contractors/sub-contractors in concert with Dasher services and schedules
  • Develop forms and records to document project activities
  • Document project activity/status in ERP Work orders
  • Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured
  • Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
  • Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards
  • Assign, log and track engineering, PM and contractor hours in ERP system.
  • Run monthly ERP reports for Operations billing on T&M projects. Inform Operations when projects have been completed to proceed with invoicing.
  • Manage Engineering calendar

Required Skills

  • Proven working experience in project management in the information technology sector
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience with data center architectures
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office with proficiency in project management software like Microsoft Project and collaboration tools
  • Proven experience in change management

Technical certification highly desired: PMP, ITIL v3, CAPM, MPM, CPM

Bachelors or Master’s Degree in related field is desired, 6+ years of experience in related field required
