Job Description

The VP of Business Development and Marketing role at Dasher Technologies will own the marketing strategy within the company to promote Dasher’s solutions sold through 50+ strategic manufacturers. The primary responsibility is to generate net new revenue through innovative demand generating marketing campaigns that support the entire sales team and IT vendor ecosystem.

Job Requirements

  • Create and execute Dasher’s marketing strategy
  • Support the sales team to generate revenue within install and target account base
  • Ideate with the executive team and promote marketing internally to key stakeholders
  • Manage Dasher’s business development team, create and implement lead generation campaigns and report on meetings, ROI, and other metrics
  • Strategize, execute and claim all marketing development fund (MDF) dollars across multiple vendors and platforms
  • Manage multiple vendor relationships to acquire leads and generate revenue based on Dasher’s core solutions
  • Lead and execute start-to-finish internal and customer event planning including 10 person seminars, to 250+ attendee forums
  • Sponsor and support IT tradeshows in the public sector, midmarket and enterprise space
  • Oversee content program and brand management by driving demand through social media, blogs, targeted ads, SEO, form fills, etc.
  • Evolve and innovate the Dasher brand through market research, analytics, press releases and media outlets
  • Project manage with marketing service agencies to drive awareness of Dasher’s IT solutions in strategic target markets and verticals
  • Position multiple manufacturers through targeted integrated marketing campaigns
  • Serve as company advocate for marketing best practices and enhanced Silicon Valley company culture
  • Manage weekly, quarterly and annual marketing calendars
  • Host vendor trainings and manage vendor relationships
  • Report on marketing success and future plans in company-wide QBRs and annual report

Required Skills

  • 5+ years experience
  • Prior managerial experience in leading a team
  • Hubspot or CRM proficiency
  • WordPress and CCS
